New artists should submit through our Artist Portal. If your music is a fit, we’ll reach out with next steps and answer any questions before you decide whether to join.
We’re highly selective and only accept a small percentage of the music we receive. We review submissions based on overall quality, sync potential, current catalog needs, and fit for the types of clients and partners we serve. If you’ve submitted before and were not accepted, that doesn’t necessarily mean the music wasn’t strong — it may simply not have been the right fit for the catalog at that time.
To help us review efficiently, please submit only your strongest material. If you create music in very different genres or under a different artist name, it may make sense to treat that as a separate submission.
Review timing can vary depending on submission volume and current priorities, but we aim to review submissions within 90 days.
If you represent multiple artists as a label, manager, publisher, or agency, it’s helpful to include a short playlist, a rough sense of catalog size, whether clean versions, instrumentals, or stems are available, whether the music is one-stop, whether the artists are working with other licensing companies or publishers, who administers YouTube Content ID, and which PROs the writers and publishers are affiliated with.
