Channel whitelisting is the process of telling YouTube’s Content ID system ahead of time that your channel is licensed to use a piece of music. When a channel is whitelisted, claims on videos using that music should either not appear at all or be automatically cleared.
With an active Audiosocket subscription, you can whitelist your own channel(s) so your licensed videos aren’t flagged by Content ID.
To whitelist your channel, navigate to your Profile, scroll down to "WhiteList Youtube Channels" and add your channel ID.
Once approved, the whitelisting applies to new uploads using Audiosocket-licensed music under your subscription.
Things to know:
-
Whitelisting is only for channels you personally own/control; you can’t whitelist client or third-party channels under your subscription.
-
The number of channels you can whitelist may be limited by your plan type.
-
If you cancel your subscription, the whitelisting may be removed and future uploads could receive claims again.
If you need to whitelist additional channels beyond your plan’s limit, or client channels, contact us about a commercial or expanded-rights license.
